The climb up a spiral staircase leads you onto a large wooden platform made from 100% recycled hardwood. On the platform is pitched a Luxury Safari Tent. Each tent has been designed to custom specifications, taking into consideration the unique application and local weather conditions. Impeccably crafted, the tent’s dual fly (roof) design keeps its inhabitants comfortably sheltered from the sun or pouring rain.

Details of the Canopy Machan:
Each Luxury Machan Tent has three sections – a) Master Bedroom b) Full Bathroom c) Wooden Deck

The Master Bedroom (16ft. x 14ft.) is spacious and tastefully decorated with hand-picked relics and artwork to create an authentic period feel. Even the solid brass light fixtures in these tents have been salvaged from ancient ships. Devoid of standard brick and concrete walls, the tent instills a feeling of being out in nature, which is further accentuated by the airy feel provided by five large windows.

Attached to the master bedroom is a private modern tiled bathroom (7ft. x 14ft.). Complete with hot and cold running water & eco-friendly toiletries, this bathroom has an expansive skylight over the shower to continue the feeling of being in the outdoors.

Extending outward from the master bedroom is a massive Wooden Deck (13ft. x 20ft.). We highly recommend spending an evening gazing at the heavens above from the comfort of this private deck. This deck also has a sheltered section, which offers guests a chance to sit out in the open during the day and enjoy the fantastic views and gentle breeze.

Amenities:

• A minimum two-night stay is required on weekends between Friday, Saturday & Sunday
• Guests have the option to join us for Lunch and/or Dinner as well. Advance notice is required.
